Meet the Doctor
Biljana Trpkova, DDS, MSc
Dr. Biljana Trpkova thoroughly enjoys practicing in the orthodontic profession. She understands that for many of her patients receiving orthodontic treatment is a positive, life changing experience, and she looks forward to helping her patients celebrate their everyday lives with a beautiful, healthy smile.
Education and Experience
Dr. Trpkova earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Skopje in Macedonia in 1989. She completed a TMD residency at the University of Alberta Dental Faculty in 1998. Her orthodontic training and Master of Science (MSc) degree were completed at the University of Alberta in Edmonton in 2001.
In addition to her formal education, Dr. Trpkova attends ongoing continuing education courses, conferences, and seminars several times a year. She has published her scientific work in the prestigious Angle Orthodontist and the American Journal of Orthodontists and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Trpkova has been practicing as an orthodontist in Calgary South West since 2001.

Outside the Office
Dr. Trpkova is a native of Skopje, Macedonia. She and her husband Kiril moved to Edmonton, Alberta in 1993, and have lived in Calgary since 2000. They have two children, a son named Cvetan and a daughter named Bistra. Dr. Trpkova is a fitness enthusiast, and enjoys regular workouts, yoga, downhill skiing and healthy cooking.
